When we were in Amish Country time before last with our friends Cathy and Marshall we visited a seed store and bought some Moon Vine seeds. Planted them in several spots in the spring and the vine by the front porch is trying to take over...now it is the Run Away Moon Vine. Yesterday I saw the first bloom - the size of a salad plate! went inside to get my camera and got side tracked....today I remembered and took a photo of a smaller one trying to close up as the sun was shining directly on it. So here it is:
On the other side of the porch our Holly bush is covered with a Run Away Morning Glory....hmmmm a theme going on here....and as summer ends we will be pulling down all the vines and bring order out of chaos so here is a peek at the covered up Holly Bush:

Amish Country
Top photo shows friend Marshall with DH Hal in front of one of our favorite Amish markets. The bottom 2 photos show fall color in Ohio. Actually took photos of two photos for the last two.
Hal and the Puppy Store
The Puppy Store is in Ohio Amish Country. Hal says he doesn't want the fuss of training another pup at this stage of life but her certainly had a few great moments with the pups that day!

The Help
Last night a group of us viewed The Help. While it was not completely true to the book, it was extremely well done. Wonderful cast, beautifully filmed. Highly recommend everyone see it. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1454029/fullcredits

Titus 2 Women Go to Mannington
13 of us drove to Mannington today for lunch and shopping. A very nice time was had by all!!!
The Once Upon A Time restaurant and gift shop were immaculate and the food was so tasty. The Country Primitive gift shop was amazing. How nice to see that 2 old buildings have been rescued and repurposed in such a great way.
Thank you so much to Debbie Kinney for organizing this activity and for leading us there and home again. Thank you, too, to Joanie Campbell, Jane Hulbert, Debbie Kinney and CC Carothers for driving today.
Looking forward to our September activity planned and lead by Joanna Huffman. More details soon!!
